This music is inspired by special moments sitting out in the open fields of the English countryside in summer and experiencing the weird and the magical. A visit to temporary landscape temples where strange orbs dance in the air and the contours of the land pulsate with an innate vibrancy to deep and mysterious rhythms.
Mixing psychedelic prog influences such as Steve Hillage with the trippy electronica of artists such as The Orb and Boards of Cananda and wrapping it up in a cinematic production that evokes shades of John Barry and Hans Zimmer. The guitars are layered with synths and shaped with plugins to create enchanting ambient textures and swirling vortices of melodic sound, enhanced with the use of backwards looping and the ebow. Also mixed in are strange sounds recorded inside crop circles to add to the magic.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.
